The Primary Ovarian Insufficiency Readiness Initiative

Welcome to the POI Readiness Initiative, brought to you by the Mary Elizabeth Conover Foundation and William Brown Consulting, LLC. We designed this unique initiative to support women with Primary Ovarian Insufficiency (POI) as they prepare for crucial clinic visits. We aim to bring the best evidence for POI care to the woman-clinician interaction, providing tailored educational materials, personalized advice, and practical tips to empower women with POI.

The POI Readiness Initiative strives to bridge the gap between medical logistics and emotional support in POI care. We seek to create a supportive environment for women, ensuring they feel informed, empowered, and not manipulated by men. We aim to combine the traditionally masculine domain of medical logistics with the emotional side of care historically provided by women.

At the Mary Elizabeth Conover Foundation and William Brown Consulting, LLC, we are committed to a collaborative social enterprise approach. 10% of all revenue generated through the POI Readiness Initiative will be donated to advocacy and education efforts, making the initiative self-sustaining and enabling us to give back to the community.

Join us in this empowering experience and take control of your ovarian health journey with the POI Readiness Initiative.

POI Health Professionals

A mission and vision for women with Primary Ovarian Insufficiency and those who care about them.

Mission Statement: “To establish a centralized digital platform that unites credentialed healthcare professionals specializing in Primary Ovarian Insufficiency (POI) to deliver comprehensive and compassionate care guided by the latest evidence-based practices.”

Vision Statement: “Our vision is to foster a global network of professionals, including health coaches, social workers, psychologists, family clinicians, medical specialists, and scientists dedicated to empowering and supporting individuals with POI. We aim to revolutionize the healthcare landscape for those affected by POI, ensuring personalized, integrated, and confidential care for all.”

Our goals are to reach women before they even know they have POI, protect them from the horror of a diagnostic odyssey, and get them the proper diagnosis and management in an empathetic and integrated manner based on the best evidence.
