Join a pioneering research project on health-related quality of life for women with Primary Ovarian Insufficiency: An exploration of the impact of stage of life and age at diagnosis.
We proudly announce that Professor Peta Stapleton from the Bond University School of Psychology in Australia is leading crucial research on POI. The study has received ethical approval from the Bond University Human Research Ethics Committee. We enthusiastically encourage women diagnosed with POI who live in Australia, the USA, or the UK to participate in this impactful study.
At My28Days, we strongly believe that every woman’s voice is vital for understanding and addressing her unique health experiences. We are thrilled to announce this important research initiative centered on women living with Primary Ovarian Insufficiency (POI). This project aims to examine the diverse journeys of women across different age groups, emphasizing the specific challenges and successes encountered along the way.
The Importance of Your Participation
Women with POI often face various challenges that affect their physical and emotional well-being. By sharing your experiences in this study, you will contribute to a deeper understanding of how POI impacts women at different stages of life. Your insights will play a crucial role in developing a POI-specific Quality of Life Scale, which has the potential to enhance clinical care and support for women navigating this condition.
Eligibility Criteria
To participate, you must meet the following criteria:
- Diagnosed with Primary Ovarian Insufficiency or Premature Ovarian Insufficiency by a medical practitioner.
- At least 18 years old when completing the survey.
- Experienced the onset of the disease before the age of 40.
Your Voice Matters
Participating is easy and entirely anonymous. You will complete an online survey that consists of some non-identifying demographic questions, along with open-ended inquiries about your personal experiences with POI. Share as much or as little as you’d like—the most important thing is to share your story.
Make a Difference Today
Your experiences are invaluable, and we would deeply appreciate your participation in this vital research. By sharing your journey, you can help create better support systems for women dealing with POI.
