Dear My28Days Community,
At My28Day®️, we’re on a mission to revolutionize women’s hormonal health. Ms. Karima Hijane and Dr. Lawrence M. Nelson from the Conover Foundation have launched a global initiative bridging the gap between nonprofits and for-profits to address Primary Ovarian Insufficiency (POI) and 17-Beta-Estradiol deficiency. We aim to empower women with knowledge about POI and offer a digital healthcare network grounded in the strongest evidence. Understanding the loneliness and diminished self-esteem often associated with POI, we strive to create a nurturing environment that fosters trust, hope, and confidence through inclusivity.
We believe that health, beauty, and elegance are interconnected, and our approach seamlessly blends these aspects with the utmost respect and acknowledgment of women’s intellectual leadership. Our campaign utilizes social media, influencer collaborations, and community engagement while emphasizing the synergy of health, beauty, and elegance.

Highlighting our commitment, we’re proud to present a bracelet designed by Karima Hijane, a pioneering woman with POI. This bracelet is a powerful symbol of emotional empowerment. Karima created the bracelet under the mentorship of the POI research team at the National Institutes of Health Intramural Research Program (NIH-IRP). Alongside, we honor Dr. Lawrence M Nelson, a veteran physician-scientist who dedicated three decades to POI research at NIH-IRP. His advisory role underscores our collective effort, with women leading the way, to promote inclusivity and recognize the pivotal role of women leaders.
By fostering dialogue, sharing experiences, and mutually supporting our endeavors for positive change, we envision a resilient community that champions advancements in women’s hormonal health amidst challenges.

To symbolize our values, we’ve introduced an imagery of a butterfly hovering over a woman’s well-manicured hand adorned with a symbolic bracelet. This imagery captures our essence—transformation, meticulous care, and the pursuit of beauty and elegance—reinforcing our dedication to growth, change, and attentive partnership.
We invite you to connect with us on Facebook, share your trusted healthcare providers, and contribute to our growing, empowering community focused on significantly impacting women’s hormonal health. Together, we can achieve extraordinary transformation.
Karima Hijane, a woman with Overt Primary Ovarian Insufficiency (POI), has the trust of nearly 7,000 women in her closed Facebook group “Primary Ovarian Insufficiency – A peer-to-peer support.” Doctor Lawrence (Dr. Lawrence M Nelson), a recognized expert on POI and former National Institutes of Health principal investigator, has the trust of over 4,000 women in his closed Facebook group “A Community Resource for Primary Ovarian Insufficiency.”
Take care and be well,

Dr. Lawrence M. Nelson, MD, MBA
